Our approach – resolving your divorce or dissolution amicably
We understand that every separation is unique, and our priority is always to find the most constructive and cost-effective path to resolution. We champion amicable solutions wherever possible but are fully prepared to represent you robustly in court if necessary.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) – constructive pathways
We advocate for ADR methods to resolve divorce or dissolution-related issues, offering a less confrontational, often quicker, and more cost-effective alternative to court litigation.
Collaborative law – Our qualified collaborative law solicitor will work with you and your spouse/partner in ’roundtable’ meetings, negotiating a fair settlement for children, finances, and property outside of court.
Mediation support – We can support you through the mediation process, helping you to communicate effectively with your former spouse/partner and find mutually agreeable solutions with the help of an independent mediator. For complex cases, we also advise on and support clients through Private Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR) and Arbitration.
Court representation – when litigation is necessary
If an amicable agreement cannot be reached through ADR, our experienced solicitors are fully prepared to represent you in court. We will meticulously prepare your case, present your position effectively, and advocate for your best interests in both the County Court and High Court.
One couple, one lawyer approach to divorce
We are qualified to practice the Resolution Together approach to One Couple, One Lawyer divorce. This approach allows one solicitor to advise both of you jointly through divorce, civil partnership dissolution or separation, helping you work towards a fair outcome on finances, property and arrangements for the children. For the right couple, it can be a constructive, cost-conscious and less adversarial way to move forward.
