Neil practises in civil and commercial litigation. Neil represents both companies and individuals and regularly accepts instructions from Claimants and Defendants in the County Court and in the High Court. On many occasions, as a solicitor with Higher Rights of Audience, Neil has conducted his own advocacy of behalf of his clients.
Neil graduated from the University of Glasgow and before becoming a lawyer taught English in Greece and Italy until being called to the Bar in 2003. Having worked for leading practices in commercial litigation in London, Neil cross-qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and joined HRJ Foreman Laws in January 2016. Neil specialises in all aspects of litigation, with a particular emphasis on Contractual and Property Disputes. Neil also represents clients in Defamation and Professional Negligence matters. Whatever your concern, Neil is a skilled litigator with a practical approach to litigation and who explores all options available to clients when disputes arise, including Alternative Dispute Resolution. In his spare time Neil enjoys coaching football and cricket. He is President of the Italian Society of Bedford, where he keeps up with his Italian skills, and also enjoys cooking and spending time with his family. Neil is a member of the Solicitors’ Association of Higher Courts Advocates.
