The team here at HRJ Foreman Laws Solicitors are proud to be a part of the community in Hitchin and Welwyn Garden City. As we head into autumn, we’re looking forward to being involved with a range of community fundraising activities for local charities that are providing valued services and support in our communities.
The Isabel Hospice Bridges of London Walk – 23 September
Isabel Hospice provides care and support for patients and their families living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses throughout eastern Hertfordshire. It also has an In-Patient Hospice in Welwyn Garden City for up to 15 patients and day service locations in Welwyn Garden City, Bishop’s Stortford and Stanstead Abbotts. To raise funds for its valued services it is hosting the Isabel Hospice Bridges of London Walk. The fundraising event is a 9 mile walk from Tower of London to Battersea Park. Over 400 walkers are expected to take part. We’ve contributed towards the production of the running numbers and are routing for everyone taking part. Men’s Voices United Concert - 10th October 2018
Men's Voices United is a new choir, based in Welwyn Garden City. It is made up of volunteers, many of which have no experience of music or singing. Together, they will practice and perform in a gala concert in Hatfield House on 10th October. The funds raised from the concert will support mental health charities, Joca, Sane and Mind in Mid Herts. We are delighted to be able to provide some support, and ensure this valiant crew have a place to rehearse each week. If you’d like to show your support, you can purchase concert tickets directly from the organisers website here: https://www.mensvoicesunited.com/
